HPG is launching a line of trendy ceramic and glass products, designed to make employees actually want to use the items they receive from their company
A mug that looks like the ones you buy in stores changes an employee’s relationship with corporate gifts. With that idea in mind, Denwell—the new beverageware brand from HPG, a supplier based in Braintree, Massachusetts—made its debut with a collection of ceramic mugs and glass tumblers.
This initiative falls under one of the strongest categories in the promotional products industry. According to Counselor’s 2026 State of the Industry report, drinkingware accounts for nearly 10 percent of the sector’s sales and continues to grow at a rate of more than 9 percent annually.
The key factor is the price. Brands like YETI and Owala have become highly sought after, but they often exceed the budget that companies allocate to their campaigns. Denwell was created to fill that gap, offering the look and feel of today’s retail products at a more affordable price.
“We saw an opportunity to bring the look and feel of today’s retail beverage products into the promotional products space,” explained Trina Bicknell, HPG’s chief revenue officer. According to her, the design, decoration, and even the way each item is packaged and delivered were all conceived to provide a better brand experience.
Quality You Can See and Use
The collection includes advanced decorative options designed to ensure high quality quickly and in large quantities. Two of the glass pieces, for example, feature a translucent print that wraps around the entire glass. Among the ceramic items, a black 11-ounce mug with a wooden handle stands out.
Delivery is also part of the offering. The ceramics and glass will ship from HPG’s new facility in Sunnyvale, Texas, using Shipwell’s patented packaging—a protective molded pulp tray made from 100 percent recycled paper that the supplier provides at no additional cost.
What This Means for Internal Marketing
For those who manage internal communications and employee recognition at companies with more than 500 employees, this launch sparks a practical conversation. A welcome kit, a gift to mark an employee’s tenure, or a year-end token works best when the employee keeps it and uses it at their desk, at home, or at the office. A well-designed, well-crafted item stays in plain sight, and every time it’s used, it reinforces the employee’s sense of belonging to the company.
That is the effect that human resources and employer branding departments are aiming for: for the item to become part of the employee’s daily routine and for the company’s brand to be with them every day, rather than ending up tucked away in a drawer. When the quality is on par with what the person would buy on their own, the likelihood of use increases—and with it, the real value of the investment.
What's Next
HPG plans to launch a collection of plastic products made in the United States later this year, and a home goods line under the same brand early next year.
Founded in 2017, HPG ranks seventh on Counselor’s Top 40 list of suppliers, with $279 million in revenue from promotional products in North America in 2025. Its portfolio also includes BCG, Beacon, Best Promotions, Debco, Evans Manufacturing, Handstands, Hub, Mixie, Origaudio, and SugarSpot.
A quality beverage also says a lot about the company that provides it. When the design, finish, and packaging are top-notch, the employee receives something that thoughtfully represents the brand—and that makes a difference from day one.
